PRIVACY POLICY ? UPDATED 22 SEPTEMBER 2026
About this policy
This policy covers the Festival Inc. promotional website, operated by the Festival Inc. team. It does not replace Steam's privacy notice or a separate notice for the game.
The operator's public contact details have not yet been published. This notice will be updated when those details are available.
Browsing and hosting
We use Vercel to host and secure this website. Vercel may process technical request information including IP addresses, requested pages, request times and browser or device details. Hosting logs are separate from visitor analytics. Fonts, images and the gameplay trailer are served as website files; playing the trailer does not load a third-party video embed.
Vercel Web Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits, referral sources and broad information such as browser, device type and country. Vercel describes this as anonymous visitor statistics without analytics cookies. Its temporary visitor identifier is discarded after 24 hours; this is not the retention period for all aggregated reports or hosting logs.
Our integration records page views. We do not send support-form contents or custom gameplay events. Query strings and URL fragments are removed from page URLs before analytics events are sent. Analytics is disabled in local file previews and on localhost.
Read Vercel's analytics privacy information and Vercel's privacy notice for provider details.
Support messages
The contact helper prepares a draft in your email application. It does not send the form to our server or save its contents in browser storage. If you send the email, we receive your address, message and attachments through our email provider and use them to respond and investigate your request. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots, logs and save files before sending them.
Cookies and local storage
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not offer visitor accounts. The player-guide checklist is temporary and is not saved by the site between visits.
Why information is used
Information is used to deliver and secure the website, understand its use and respond to enquiries. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on legitimate interests in running and improving the site and handling enquiries, or compliance with legal obligations where relevant. Uses that legally require consent require that consent.
Sharing and retention
Hosting, analytics and email providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Providers may process information outside your country; their applicable terms and privacy notices explain their arrangements. We do not sell support correspondence.
Support correspondence is retained for as long as reasonably needed to handle requests, investigate related issues and meet applicable legal obligations. Hosting logs and analytics reports are retained according to the provider's service settings and terms.
Your choices and rights
Browser privacy controls and content-blocking tools can restrict analytics requests. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, or request portability. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
External services
Steam and other linked services have their own privacy policies. Following their links takes you to those services.
Contact and updates
Use the support and contact page for privacy enquiries or requests about correspondence you have sent.
We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
